As the festive period draws closer and we all begin to reflect on the challenges and hardships endured this year, we invite you to light up the life of a loved one.
This year, why not make a dedication to someone you love, someone you miss or to someone you will be thinking about this December. Together, by lighting up a life this festive season, we can make a difference to those who need it most and come together as a community.
I would like to dedicate my lovely son Lee Hemingway who passed away on the 14th February 2017 aged 28. Lee was very brave going through his illness even up to his final days where I looked after him at home. I would not have been able to do this without the help of the lovely nurses from Kirkwood, I am for ever grateful for their support especially Jayne Bargh who got us through some difficult times of Lees illness.
For my beautiful Mum Sheila who passed away 30/04/20.
I dreaded the day I’d receive “The call” from Kirkwood Hospice but as I watched you take your last few breaths in my Dads arms whilst he told you how much he loved you & you were beautiful, I’m glad we were able to be there for you in your final moments. We miss you every single day, the world is a little less brighter with you not in it, your always in our hearts forever till we meet again....... love you Mum x
